Into every life a little rain must fall...
And things have been a bit soggy around here. It's been a stressful few months recently, and as such, I haven't been bitten by the mosquito of muse. It's been two steps forward, then two steps back as far as production goes. I do have some material done, which I will have to post. And I've got a roadmap for the future laid out, I just need to get some real-life issues behind me and some time to put fingers to keyboard. There will be writing, oh yes.
And I also might have a donations option sorted for those who feel the need. Paypal nixed their donations system. And living outside the US or the EU puts a few restrictions on some of the more popular options. Ko-fi seems like the most straightforward, so I'll see how that goes. Wise also has a WiseTag system, but I'm not sure how effective that would be - it looks like fees would eat most reasonable transactions.
This update was written almost entirely without the aid of an LLM.
You can't imagine how nice it is to hear from you again, Greg. Twice nicer to see that despite the IRL difficulties you still try to move on with your hobby as a writer. It means a whole lot for your readers and fans. And, hopefully, it means a whole lot more for you, as an author. I don't know what sort of issues you're dealing with, but I do know that they'll be sorted out eventually)
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, thank you so much for setting up a donation option. Finally, there's a possibility for us to support you!)
P. S. If you're interested or if opportunity presents itself, it would be really helpful, for your fans and regular readers, if you could try to keep in touch with us a bit more. Emails and updates on blogspot are good, but if you could find time and possibility to set up a group in either Discord, Telegram, etc. It would help a lot for communication between author and his audience.
I am glad to see that you are still around! I admit to being concerned at not hearing a peep, but such is the way of things. Sorry that things have been stressful, and I do hope that they get better. Inspiration and motivation can be a hard thing to muster when life throws things at us that we have to deal with. And sometimes even when things are fine.
ReplyDeletePlease take care of yourself. I look forward to reading what comes when your muse is active again, and I hope that your path to the conclusion of the story remains clear and satisfying.
